Isebrook Hospital Library has grown!

The wall at the back of the Library
The building work is all finished, the books and journals are back on the shelves and Isebrook Hospital Library is a little bigger than it was!

We had a storage room at the back of the Library we thought would would be better used for making more room for our users.

The expansion of the library has allowed us to create some more study spaces and, due to some extra shelving, free up space for the book stock (some of the shelves were getting very tight).

We'd previously used the room for storage

We're really pleased with the results (a big thank you to the NHFT Estates Team who did a great job in making this happen). The space is lighter and more welcoming and we have already had some very positive feedback from our users. Do feel free to pop in to Nene House and have a look!

We also had to move most of the stock before the work started

The end result!

This is where the storage room used to be.
