NHFT virtual book club - our next read is The Book Club!

Following our step back in time to the 1600s with The Illumination of Ursula Flight we are moving to the present day (and being rather meta) with The Book Club by C.J. Cooper.

The book club was her idea, of course. Alice's.

It was her way into our group. A chance to get close.

I knew from the day she arrived that she couldn't be trusted.

And I was right.

Because Alice didn't come to the village for peace and quiet.

She came for revenge.

''Dark, twisty, claustrophobic' Jo Spain

The next meeting will be Thursday the 12th of May at 7pm via MS Teams where we will be discussing the novel. You can find the link via the Events Calendar on the Staff Room.

Will you dare come to our book club?
