The Historical Archive at Northampton General have produced a booklet on the early history of the hospital.Starting with its foundation in 1743, the booklet traces the history of the hospital from its inception as an infirmary to the foundation of the NHS in 1948.
As well as being available in the Richmond Library, the booklet is available from the Historical Archive (priced just £3.50).
