If you have searches saved or alerts set up in either the Medline or PsychINFO databases you have until the 31st of March to act or you will lose them.
When NICE re-tendered for the National Core Content, the contract for these two databases went to a new supplier (ProQuest). Because of the differences between the two products, it will not be possible to replicate searches undertaken on the old versions when the transfer to ProQuest is made.
This applies to both HDAS (on the NICE Evidence Services site) and the native Ovid SP platform.
You will need to download any searches or alerts that you wish to keep. You can find instructions on how to do that on page 7 of this document.
Once the transition to the new database supplier has been made, you will then be able to re-enter your searches or alerts on HDAS after July 15.
If you have any questions or problems please contact us.
